The way
to get through anything
is to have a clear
achievable goal
to focus on.

I focus on food
all of the time
so that's all I think about,
that's all I do.
I must change my focus.

I want to focus on writing.
I want to focus on art.
These are things I am.
I am only comfortable
within myself
when I am writing
when I am creating
when my hands
produce
what's in my mind.

#1 - 500 words first thing in the morning no matter what as my opening task of the day. The exact words don't matter. The topic doesn't matter. If worse comes to worse, I'll write the same word over and over again 500 times. Simple. Doable. Goal.

#2 - When I want to eat something not on my healthy eating plan, I will first drink 8 ounces of water to fill me up and take care of my thirst because I am more likely thirsty instead of hungry. Then I will write 500 words preferablly about eating:

why
what
who
where
when
how

sight
sound
smell
taste
touch

#3 - Each night I will produce 3 small goals to accomplish the next day on my current writing project.

Each of these three ongoing goals will be written as a separate post on the blog each night.
